Categories: Uncategorized

The Charlotte Research Institute is pleased to announce its Targeted Research Seed Grant Program. Serving as a catalyst for UNC Charlotte faculty, this new program offers internal funds intended to (1) initiate new intellectual directions for faculty, (2) help generate more compelling grant submissions to federal agencies, and (3) foster new relationships across colleges, departments, and centers. Awards will be made for both large projects (maximum budget $60,000 for up to one year) and small projects (maximum budget $10,000 for up to six months). Details on the program and application can be found here. A complete proposal consists of the Seed Grant Application Form, Quad Chart, Budget Justification, Research Plan Template, External Funding Template and CVs. Merge all documents into a single PDF file and email an electronic copy to CRI-Grant@uncc.edu. Name your file in the following manner: Last name_first name. Deadline for applications is March 30, 2016. Feedback will be given regardless of whether a proposal is funded.
